Chance to Shine

Jontae Minor, a fifth-grade student at Pride Elementary, has gained songwriting and singing skills through class instructors L’Mer Owens and Dewayne GoLightly.

His concentration never wandered nor did his voice crack while in the recording booth performing a solo part for a song the class wrote, entitled “Too Young.”

Light of Chance Inc. to host its first ‘Breathe’ Showcase

Breathe, Light of Chance’s community-based youth development program, will host its first showcase at 6 p.m. Monday, May 14th at the Rosenwald-Smith Multi-Cultural Center in Madisonville.
