As one year ends and another begins, we are in our reflection and reminiscing mode. Reassessing and evaluating, evaluating and reassessing our lives with fine tooth combs. In the mist of these deep thoughts, we come up with a list of New Year resolutions filled with things we want to do, change, improve, join, give, and try. To be honest, most of us will NOT achieve our New Year resolutions.

Depression during the holidays can be due to financial stress, emotional and relationship issues. Some people tend to overwork, they end up doing more work than usual and having no rest at all. On the other hand, loneliness or being away from a loved one and having too much time can lead to depression. All these reasons can be holiday triggers for stress.
