Jontae Minor, a fifth-grade student at Pride Elementary, has gained songwriting and singing skills through class instructors L’Mer Owens and Dewayne GoLightly.
His concentration never wandered nor did his voice crack while in the recording booth performing a solo part for a song the class wrote, entitled “Too Young.”
With Get Set Go, children participate in both traditional and nontraditional physical exercises such as zumba, aerobics, kicking, dance and yoga. They also learn new and healthier ways to eat and prepare food. Logan would like to see Get Set Go change lives and dispel myths that healthy foods cannot also be tasty.

Depression during the holidays can be due to financial stress, emotional and relationship issues. Some people tend to overwork, they end up doing more work than usual and having no rest at all. On the other hand, loneliness or being away from a loved one and having too much time can lead to depression. All these reasons can be holiday triggers for stress.
The unbeaten path, the road less traveled, going through life with a flash light. This is how I often feel when I think of my life and path. It is rewarding, frustrating, and lonely at times but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
