Cara Gonzalez

Meet our new Youth Diversion Specialist, Cara Gonzalez. Cara is from Greeley, Colorado, and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Cara has years of experience working with at-risk youth, while also being active in community service. In Colorado, she volunteered at the Weld Food Bank and Weld County Humane Society. She was a foster parent and is currently in the certification process for Kentucky. Cara is passionate about working with children and families in crisis and considers it to be very rewarding. “Kids are some of the most vulnerable in society and oftentimes they just need someone to listen, understand, and advocate on their behalf to change their trajectory.”
