Connie Lopez

Connie Lopez was born in Mexico and was raised in the United States since 1949. She has been married for 53 years and has four children who are all grown adults with children of their own now. Connie graduated from high school in South Bend, Indiana. She worked as a clerk/typist for the State of Texas for eight years. She then moved to Holland, Michigan, and worked for 20 years at a circuit board company, after which she retired to Madisonville to live with her son. Connie now works with Light of Chance, Inc. as an office assistant to the program coordinator over the Breathe Youth Art Program. Connie expresses her excitement for working with Light of Chance,

“I thoroughly enjoy working here. This position gives me an opportunity to learn much and to have enjoyable interactions with children and the wonderful staff at Light of Chance. Also, I may be able to use my bilingual skills with Spanish-speaking clients.”
